Anchor

Last updated: June 17, 2026

Anchor is a habit tracking app built with your privacy as a default, not an afterthought.

Data collection

Anchor does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on any server. There is no account, no login, and no backend of any kind.

Where your data lives

All information you enter into Anchor — habit names, streaks, reminder times, and settings — is stored locally on your device only. It never leaves your phone, and we have no access to it.

Notifications

Anchor uses local, on-device notifications to remind you about your habits. These reminders are scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve any external server or push notification service.

Third parties

Anchor does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not share data with anyone, because we don't collect any to begin with.

Children's privacy

Anchor does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, since the app collects no data at all regardless of who uses it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of Anchor adds optional cloud sync — this page will be updated and the date above will reflect the change.
